St. Patrick's Day Dinner in the Diner |
Wear your green, bring your friends and neighbors to join in the St. Patrick’s Day spirit for a fund raiser “Dinner in the Diner”. Sunday evening March 17, 2013 the Arizona Railway Museum will be our Irish hideaway. A home style corned beef dinner with appetizers, bread and dessert will be served in our 1949 Union Pacific dining car. The meal includes a beverage (coffee, iced tea, water); appetizers will be served in the Regal Phoenix lounge car and Plaza Taos lounge. This fund raiser is limited to members of the museum and their guests but there is limited seating. |
| January 27, 2013 | ARM Annual Membership Meeting | Meeting for ARM Members and public to see all the progress made over the past year. Additional cars will be open for visitors to see. Membership Meeting and additional activities are for members only. Visitors can join that day and participate. |

Dinner in the Diner | Bring your friends and neighbors and join in the Christmas spirit for a fund raising “Dinner in the Diner”. An Italian style spaghetti dinner with appetizers, salad, bread and dessert will be served in our 1949 Union Pacific dining car. This fund raiser is limited to museum members and their guests but the seating is limited. |
| November 9 & 10, 2012 | Chuck Wagon Cook Off | The Arizona Railway Museum will have extended hours and additional cars open for viewing during the Chuck Wagon Chili Cook-off event. The museum will be open November 9 and 10 from 9am to 5pm. A shuttle wagon is being arranged to carry visitors between the cook-off and the ARM display yard. |

Dinner in the Diner - Extra Day | Due to an overwhelming response to this year’s Dinner in the Diner event it sold out in less than a week. A number of members have asked that we consider adding Sunday night to the calendar. If enough folks show an interest we will do Sunday. |

#844 steam locomotive. Below is a tentative schedule for stops in
Arizona. This schedule is subject to change. The Arizona Railway Museum is planning to have an information booth at the Phoenix stop. |

The Maricopa County Tax Assessor's Office renovated the Santa Fe Freight House in downtown Phoenix, Arizona. Railroad memorabilia from the ARM collection is on loan and publicly displayed throughout the interior. |

| May 29, 2011 | ARM Closing for Summer | The ARM officially closes for the Summer. Due to the summer heat (and low visitor volume) the ARM officially closes, but FEAR NOT! The ARM Volunteers continue working throughout the summer. Typically, the crews start early Saturday mornings trying to beat the heat. There is no guarantee anyone will be working, but visitors are welcome to visit and walk through the display yard. The Gift Shop, Artifact Building, and Display Equipment will be CLOSED. |

We will be installing the iron fence on the north end of the museum.
Start time both days will be 7:00 am. We should be ready to wrap it up
by 11:00 each day.
The fence panels are built and painted. We will be digging holes,
welding, aligning, touch up painting, mixing concrete and doing a lot of
socializing. So if your staying in town spend the morning with us.
