Southern Pacific 2562 - February 5, 1969 move from Chandler City Park to temporary location in the city's Public Works Yard.
 Below are two newspaper articles covering the move of SP #2562 from it's original display location at Chandler City Park to a temporary location in the city's Public Works Yard.  The locomotive would be moved again in May 1969 to a newly created park (north of Chandler Blvd, east of Delaware St). That park would eventually be named Armstrong Park in honor of Ray Armstrong.
